CASTILLLO CHUNG, Aldo R.

Aldo Castillo Chung is a certified metallurgical engineer with expertise in extractive metallurgy, physical metallurgy, safety, and environmental management. He has extensive experience in consulting, process optimization, and the installation of mining equipment. Currently, he works as a consultant for Servicios Minero Metalúrgicos Integrales S.A.C. and serves as a professor at Universidad Nacional de Trujillo and Universidad Privada del Norte. His role includes knowledge transfer in metallurgical processes and commitment to teamwork and project goals.


With over 15 years of experience, Castillo has held positions such as Operations Supervisor at MASERG SAC and Quality Control Specialist at Tanabe Compressors in Japan. He has managed construction and recovery projects for mining equipment, specializing in welding, wear part restoration, and process improvement. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, with a focus on integrated management systems, quality, environment, safety, and corporate social responsibility.
